This year's event featured 1,500 exhibitors from 67 countries, while the number of visitors reached 200,000 from 113 countries.

Sustainability of the marine environment

It is worth noting that this year’s event focused particularly on issues of sustainability and protection of the marine environment. Within the framework of the Blue Innovation Dock Forum, presentations and discussions were held on developments in the boat sector and innovative solutions in the fields of propulsion, fuels, and materials. In addition, the EU Agenda for a sustainable and competitive boat industry by 2030 was presented. The discussions focused on important current issues of concern to the industry such as alternative propulsion, natural materials, investment incentives for manufacturers, and renovation of marina infrastructure. Furthermore, through BOOT’s collaboration with the German Ocean Foundation, the Exhibition has been promoting important business initiatives for the protection of the oceans since 2017.
