FedHATTA: Opening a new tourist "horizon" in Namibia - Meeting with diplomatic representatives

As part of its strategy to strengthen extroversion and promote new travel experiences for Greek and international visitors to our country, the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel & Tourism Agencies (FedHATTA) held an important meeting with diplomatic representatives of Namibia.

In particular, the President of FedHATTA, Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, met with the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and diplomat of Namibia, Ms. Linda Scott, responding to her interest in discussing ways to develop Greek tourist flows to the South African country.

The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of Namibia, Mr. Alexander Eliades and Cruise Consultant Mr. George Stathopoulos, contributing their expertise to the discussions.

Ms. Scott presented the range of possibilities that Namibia offers as a tourist destination: from the imposing desert and impressive canyons to the rivers, the wild coastline, and the vast expanses of national parks. The country is suitable for experiential outdoor activities, safaris, and nature tours, attracting visitors of all ages.

The discussion focused on the development of strategic synergies to enhance the awareness of Namibia in the Greek market, through joint actions and promotional activities.

After the meeting, the President of FedHATTA, Mr. Lysandros Tsilidis, stated: "FedHATTA continues its mission, opening new horizons and creating bridges of tourism cooperation with destinations of high added value for the modern traveler. In the context of extroversion, we make the most of the exploration of new strategic partnerships with the aim of strengthening the travel flow to and from Greece, with an emphasis on emerging and authentic destinations such as Namibia."
