After an excellent 2024, TUI Germany is expanding its summer program for 2025, mainly in Turkey, Greece, the Canary Islands, Egypt and Dubai. The increased offer will primarily be in hotels that stand out for their quality-price ratio.

This was stated by TUI Germany CEO Benjamin Jacobi during the presentation of the 2025 summer program at a press conference in Berlin on December 5, 2024.

Another piece of news, that Mr. Jacobi gave, was the very early bookings for the 2025 holidays. He said characteristically:

"It is interesting that never before have so many holidaymakers secured their dream trip for next summer immediately after their return." As he said, those who book early, usually by the end of February, benefit from discounts of up to 40%.

According to the Group, prices are likely to increase by two to three percent overall in the coming season - and thus remain largely in line with inflation.

As the CEO of TUI Germany said:

Turkey is becoming an increasingly popular destination for holidaymakers from Germany and is currently experiencing growth rates of over 30% at TUI. TUI aims to surpass the number of visitors of over one million again in the summer of 2024.

“The Greek islands are also starting the summer season with a high increase in bookings,” he said but did not give details, as the financial results will be published in a week. TUI is, however, expecting more than one million holidaymakers from Germany to Greece and is expanding its offer.
The long-time favorite Mallorca remains popular. With more than 220,000 seats and 88 weekly flights, the Balearic Islands are "the number one destination" for the Group's airline TUI fly.
The USA will remain the undisputed favorite long-haul destination for TUI customers in 2025. The company is further expanding its offering here, especially to Florida, New York, the West Coast, and Hawaii, and is adding new trips.
According to TUI, the current winter season is also showing "strong growth." Holidaymakers are driving a significant increase in bookings for trips to Egypt, the Canary Islands, and Turkey. “With an increase in bookings of over 30 percent, the Turkish Riviera is the rising destination in the Mediterranean and the winter season and third in the popularity ranking behind Hurghada and Fuerteventura.”
Value-for-money hotels

Benjamin Jacobi confirmed at the press conference that “many best-selling hotels in the value-for-money category” have been included in the program, confirming the experience of many travel agencies after the gradual activation of summer offers. One example is the TUI Suneo Palm Beach in Monastir in Tunisia, another is the TUI Kids Club Wangerland on the North Sea, another is the TUI Kids Club Roda Beach in Corfu. According to Jacobi, all three resorts offer “extensive” all-inclusive services and therefore “very easy planning for families.”

More family rooms and water parks

In addition, like other major tour operators, TUI has secured more capacity for large family rooms with up to four children and has added even more hotels with water parks to its program. “Water parks are at the top of the wish list, especially for children,” says TUI’s new CCO Stefan Baumert. Among other things, he has his eye on the newly built Nickelodeon by Rixos in Belek and Magic Life Belek.

TUI’s hotel brands are growing strongly

According to Jacobi and Baumert, the growth drivers remain the company’s own hotel brands: one in three holidaymakers currently chooses a TUI hotel in top destinations in the Mediterranean. As the “largest holiday hotelier in Europe”, TUI will expand its portfolio to 600 hotels worldwide in the medium term.

In addition to the two TUI Kids Clubs in Nordee and Corfu, prominent new additions include three TUI Blue Hotels in Rhodes, Tenerife and Marsa Alam. The Time To Smile apartment concept is being expanded to Cyprus, Kos and the Algarve. They are also targeting holidaymakers who value a low base price without meals.
