Hellenic American Academy admissions for 2024-2025 school year opening soonThe Academy offers a problem-based learning curriculum, strong across the four disciplines of math, science, literature, and history

Admissions are opening soon for the 2024-2025 School Year for Preschool through 8th Grade at the Hellenic American Academy (HAA) in Deerfield.

The Academy offers a problem-based learning curriculum, strong across the four disciplines of math, science, literature, and history; instruction that acknowledges objective standards of correctness, logic, beauty, and truth; immersive Greek Language Education; Preschool Creative Curriculum, research-based and hands-on experience; optional before school and after school care; and After School Enrichment and Cultural Programs available.

Current Student Registration opens February 1, New Student Registration opens March 1. Act fast as a waitlist is anticipated in PreK and grades 3-5.

The 2023 Illinois Junior Academy of Science Fair 1st Place State Team, Division C; the 2023 Illinois Junior Academy of Science Fair – four Gold State medalists and two Special Awards; 70% of HAA graduates placed in Honors Math, English, and History courses in high school; first place at the National Hellenic Museum Academic Bowl; 2023 Hellenic Bar Association Essay Contest – three winners; 2023 Hellenic Foundation Grant Recipient, Greek Theater Program; student recognition at the Illinois Principals Association; HAA is recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education; Middle School students placed in top 20% in national reading and math achievement; HAA is formally accredited as the Examination Center for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek (Ellinomatheia Certificate) in the Midwest Region by the Greek Ministry of Education and the Center for the Greek Language; Record Ellinomatheia exam participation by HAA students with over 90% success rate in May 2023; and 100% of HAA 2023 Saturday Program High School graduates reached academic knowledge in Greek, successfully passing B2, C1, and C2 levels for the Certificate of Attainment in the Greek Language and eligible for college credit.
