Total purchases of materials and services by the state-run hospital in the national healthcare system (ESY) surpassed two billion euros, a figure substantially higher than similar expenditures in previous years, naftemporiki.gr reports.

The figure is higher by 3.8% compared to 2017, with 69% dealing with purchases of pharmaceuticals and sanitary materials from private suppliers.
