Tourism Investments | YOTELPAD Athens is Coming with 113 Apartments in Omonia, Monastiraki, and Neo Kosmos

Athens is the next stop in the strategic European expansion of YOTEL, the international hotel chain that has distinguished itself for its technological orientation and modern design. The new project, called YOTELPAD Athens, will include 113 apartments (PADs) and will be developed in three centrally located building complexes in the heart of the Greek capital.

This is YOTEL’s first entry into the Greek market, at a time when Athens is being redefined as an international tourist and business destination, with strong demand for modern forms of hospitality, especially in the extended-stays sector.

The project is being implemented by Valpre Capital, a London-based investment firm, which has undertaken the overall design and renovation of the three buildings in accordance with YOTEL’s specifications and its philosophy of “tech-forward” hospitality and sustainable urban design.

Three buildings – One brand

YOTELPAD Athens will span three different locations:

Piraeus (Omonia): the flagship building of the project, in the heart of a dynamically revitalizing neighborhood. It will feature a rooftop with panoramic views of Athens, catering to both tourists, digital nomads, and professionals.
Miltiadou (Monastiraki): just a few steps from Syntagma and the historic center, it is ideal for short stays as well as corporate clients with central access needs.
Iras (Neos Kosmos): in a more residential environment near the Syngrou-Fix metro station, it is aimed mainly at professionals with a longer stay, offering peace and quiet and views of the Acropolis.
Each building will feature the chain’s signature services, such as Mission Control (digital reception), Grab+Go (automatic supply point), Wash+Go (cleaning areas), and fully equipped gyms. The PADs, which include studios and one-bedroom apartments, are designed with an emphasis on functionality and comfort, serving both short-term and long-term accommodation needs.

Targeting the new generation of travelers

London-based YOTEL has developed a strong international presence with hotels in key markets such as New York, Singapore and Dubai. The YOTELPAD brand, launched in response to the growing demand for "hometels" – hybrid accommodations that combine elements of a residence and a hotel – has already been successfully implemented at YOTELPAD London Stratford.

Athens was chosen as a strategic hub for the brand, with a view to further growth in both the European market and emerging destinations in Asia and the Middle East.

Defining the future of aparthotels

YOTELPAD Athens is expected to open in the last quarter of 2026 and is part of a wider wave of investments that are redefining the hospitality landscape in Athens, especially in the urban aparthotel category, which responds to the modern need for flexibility, privacy, and technological support.
