Antalya Hits All-Time Visitor Record – Over 105,000 Foreign Tourists in One Day

Antalya has reached an impressive milestone for global tourism, as on August 3, 2025, it recorded the highest number of international arrivals in a single day: 105,284 foreign tourists arrived in the city through its airports, confirming its potential as a leading global destination.
The announcement was made by Turkey's Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who praised Antalya's performance, calling it "a success that reflects not only numbers, but also trust, quality and hospitality - the core elements of Turkish tourism".

Strengthened momentum for summer 2025

According to official figures from the ministry, from January 1 to August 3, Antalya has already welcomed 9,231,309 foreign visitors via air arrivals. These figures confirm the strong recovery of Turkish tourism in recent years and establish Antalya as one of the most popular Mediterranean destinations for vacations, cultural experiences and high-quality accommodation.

Antalya has become the "tourism capital" of Turkey, thanks to the combination of luxury beach resorts, organized infrastructure and proximity to important archaeological sites, such as Perge and Aspendos. The offer of all-inclusive packages, the focus on quality services and safety are factors that continue to enhance its global appeal.

Global interest in Turkish tourism

This impressive performance comes at a time when Turkey is strengthening its presence in international tourism markets with targeted campaigns and infrastructure investments. Antalya, in particular, has become a magnet for travelers from Europe, Russia, the Middle East and recently from Asian markets, with direct air connections playing a crucial role in facilitating flows.

Minister Ersoy emphasized that "this performance reflects the strategic approach of Turkish tourism: to offer high-quality experiences and attract tourists who return and recommend the country to others." He also highlighted the importance of continuous investment in quality service and strengthening the local tourism economy.
