Qatar's National Day marked at Athens central hotel on ThursdayThe significance of the FIFA World Cup being held in Qatar was mentioned by the ambassador, who said it highlighted the country’s economic and administrative capabilities, and the country's achievements overall

Under the maxim "Unity is our strength", Qatar National Day was celebrated by the Qatari Embassy at an event held in a central Athens hotel on Thursday, ANA reports.

Ambassador of Qatar to Greece Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Emadi expressed his country's interest in deepening bilateral relations between Greece and Qatar and spoke of the support both countries provide to each other in international fora.
