Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis accompanied by government officials arrived late Tuesday to Abu Dabhi on an official visit aiming to strengthen relations between Greece and the United Arab Emirates and to expand international and regional alliances, int.ert.gr reports.

PM met with the ruler of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the minister of Industry Sultan Al Jaber.

The Greek government signed a Strategic Partnership Declaration as well as an Agreement on Cooperation in the fields of foreign policy and defense.
