The hospitality chain strengthens and expands its position in our country, with hotels in Attica, Peloponnese, Cyclades, as well as in other regions.
Radisson Hotel Group continues its expansion in Greece, planning significant openings that will double its portfolio in the country by 2026 - from 5 to 10 hotels in operation - and upgrade its position as a distinguished hospitality destination. This strategy strengthens the Group's presence in the historic center of the capital with urban hotels, while it includes luxury resorts in mainland Greece and in emblematic island destinations, in strategic partnership with leading investors, thus offering unique experiences to every category of traveler.

More specifically:

In the heart of Athens, right next to the Metropolis, Radisson RED Mitropoleos Square Athens is expected to open in May 2026, marking the debut of the RED brand in Greece. The hotel will feature 109 rooms, three restaurants, a lobby bar, two rooftop terraces, and a fitness center. The hotel embodies the bold aesthetics of the RED identity with bright colors and lighting, connecting the rich history of the area with the modern urban experience.

A few steps away, Radisson Theatrou Square Athens (photo) will open its doors in May 2026. The hotel, with 173 rooms, two restaurants, a lobby bar, a gym and a spa, combines family hospitality and the city’s long history with high aesthetics. The building, which housed the first winter theater of Athens and the Diplarios School, maintains its authentic architecture and the artistic nature of the multiple phases that characterized it, with materials such as marble, wood, metal and glass. Radisson Theatrou is an all-year round city hotel, ideal for families and travelers of all types, just 45 minutes from Athens airport and the port of Piraeus, and will operate in collaboration with Gnosis Investments.

The two hotels will operate under cluster management, with joint administration and departments, highlighting the Group’s innovation in urban unit management in Greece.

In mainland Greece, Radisson Blu Resort Mani, a new premium resort in Gytheio, strengthens Laconia as an emerging luxury destination. The resort will offer a top-notch hospitality experience in a magnificent coastal landscape, combining luxury, natural beauty and relaxation, constituting a distinct communication axis for the Radisson Hotel Group, reinforcing its development strategy in high-quality mainland destinations.

At the same time, the presence of the Radisson Hotel Group in the Cyclades is strengthened, with the upcoming opening of a resort in Paros, with the Radisson Hotel Group thus becoming the only major international hospitality chain (hard brand) active in all the emblematic islands of the Cyclades (Santorini, Mykonos, Paros), as well as in Skiathos. The strong island presence allows the Group to fully meet the needs of travelers for “island hopping”, offering experiences that combine traditional Greek hospitality, premium design, quality gastronomy and global standards of well-being.

Finally, a new large-scale hotel project is in the final stages of signing, on the mainland, in the neighboring prefecture of Attica.

Elie Milky, Group Chief Development Officer, Greece, Cyprus, Middle East and North East Africa, said: “We are excited about our continued growth in Greece. The openings in Athens, the Peloponnese, the islands and elsewhere highlight our commitment to providing quality properties for our partners in the market, as well as high-quality hospitality experiences for our guests, while at the same time doubling our Greek portfolio, consolidating Radisson Hotel Group’s unique presence in the country.”

With these moves and the differentiated approach to city, island and mainland resorts, Radisson Hotel Group confirms its strategic commitment to offering distinctive hospitality experiences in every corner of Greece.
