Promotion of Wine Tourism in Germany by GNTO and the Greek Embassy

In an initiative that highlights the growing potential of Greek wine tourism abroad, the Hellenic Tourism Organization has approved the organization of a special event in Berlin, which is scheduled for June 12. The event, organized by the GNTO office in Germany in close cooperation with the Embassy of Greece in Berlin, aims to promote and promote wine tourism to selected representatives of the tourism market in the wider Berlin region.

The event will be hosted at the premises of the Greek Embassy and is scheduled to start at 18:00. The guests, including tour operators and tourist agencies based in Berlin and the surrounding areas, will have the opportunity to get to know and taste a wide range of Greek wines covering the entire Greek territory. This is a strategic move with a dual objective: to highlight the uniqueness of Greek wine-producing regions and to strengthen the demand for thematic tourism, which is increasingly gaining ground internationally.

This initiative comes at a time when Greece is trying to diversify and enrich its tourism product beyond the classic sun and sea.
