Greek-American Miss USA contestant "proud to be Greek"

Miss Pennsylvania, Elena Laquarta, who will be one of the beauty pageants vying for the Miss USA title in June is Greek, and is very proud of it.

Elena describes her struggle with meningitis since the age of 4 in her two minute promotional video.

The Pittsburgh natvive is so proud of her Greek heritage that she says the word ‘Greek’ a total of 8 times in the span of her 2-minute promo video!
