Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson arrives in Greece for new TV Show

Famous Canadian- American actress and former model Pamela Anderson arrived in Athens on Sunday, to appear in the premiere of a new television show “It’s Show Time” hosted by Greek presenter Nikos Koklonis, according to greekcitytimes.com.

The former Baywatch star was welcomed at the airport by the presenter, who along with the actress told reporters they were looking forward to shooting the show.

Anderson’s agency in Los Angeles, Next Level Agency also confirmed her personal appearance for the new TV show in Greece, which will be broadcast on Saturday, March 2nd on Open Beyond TV Channel, a free broadcasting television network with nationwide coverage.

The show’s host Koklonis is also the creator of “Celebrity Travel”, another Greek reality television style show.

The 51-year-old blond bombshell who has graced the pages of numerous magazines says she now dedicates her life to campaigning for the environment and human rights.

Nevertheless, she still likes to look glam when she steps out and wowed the crowds in Athens on Monday, wearing a tight black Bardot style dress that showed off her famous curves.

According to greekreporter.com, after she was warmly welcomed to the country with a large bouquet of red roses, she gave an interview where she spoke about the “capitulation” of Alexis Tsipras and her admiration for former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis. She published the interview on her personal blog.

“I admire the Greek people who said “OXI” (No) during the famous Greek referendum, defying the European Union. “OXI” (“No”) goes back to the days when Fascist(s) were occupying Greece, it was a symbol of Greek defiance against occupation,” she notes in the blog.

“It became famous again during Europe’s economic crisis, when in 2015 Greece held a historic European referendum where the majority (61%) of the population voted OXI / NO — against an agreement with EU’s institutions and banks,” Anderson claims.

“But unfortunately, the Syriza (left party) government (with Alexis Tsipras as prime minister) decided to capitulate, and the next day of the referendum finance minister Yanis Varoufakis resigned,” she goes on.

Replying to a question on who she considers the most important Greek celebrity living today, the 51-year-old actress did not hesitate.

“Yanis Varoufakis, someone who said “OXI” when he was finance minister of Greece and who inspires people across Europe,” she declared.
