Region of East Macedonia and Thrace: Strategic Destination Marketing Planning

The Organization PERI EXELIXIS - LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION has issued a call for interest to the company I. PARSALIS & CO. EE. for the provision of services related to the Strategic Destination Marketing Planning and sustainable tourism development of the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace.

The subject of the contract is the provision of services for the provision of specialized expertise and advisory support by a specialized consultant in order to fulfill its role as the Destination Management and Promotion Organization (DMO) consultant of the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace. Specifically, the subject of the contract under negotiation is:

-The development of a strategic tourism development framework.

-The preparation of specifications and axes for the design and development of the tourist identity of the Destination as a branded tourist product and a system of unified and multi-level identity of the destinations and thematic tourist products of the Region.

-The support in strategic planning for the submission of the relevant Proposal in the issued Invitation to the Development Organization "On Evolution", of the Special Program Management Service "Eastern Macedonia, Thrace", for the implementation of the Governance System and the assumption of the role of Management and Promotion Body of the Cultural Route of the Egnatia Motorway.

-The provision of strategic destination planning and sustainable tourism development consulting services to provide the required data to third parties (students or action contractors) as well as strategic directions with the aim of drawing up specifications for the programs and actions under execution.

-The evaluation and submission of relevant analysis reports of proposed tourism promotion actions of third parties.

-The technical advisory support in the formulation of the strategic approach for the implementation of actions proposed by those involved in the tourism product of the Region of Eastern Macedonia, Thrace.

-The support in the establishment and operation of the Special Tourism Committee of the O.D.P. based on L. 5121/2024

-The provision of analysis and evaluation of the tourism promotion program of the previous period and proposals and directions for the drawing up of specifications for the tourism promotion program of the new period.

-The preparation of special design documents and proposals for the development of thematic tourism products (such as gastronomic, digital nomads, etc.).

The budget of the action amounts to 24,800 euros, including VAT. The implementation time of the action is set until 31.08.2025.
