Love at first sight for Lipsi - watch the Mayor's music video with rapper

The new invitation of Lipsi with a music video clip is dedicated to couples, on the day of Saint Valentine's Day.
The unique natural beauties, the picturesque village, and the seductive turquoise waters of Lipsi star in the video clip of the new song entitled "To Fili Tis Fotias" performed by the Mayor of Lipsi Fotis Maggos and the rapper Michalaras.

"Every summer, couples visit the island of Calypso and fall in love with it, resulting in them returning again and again. We wanted to repay their love and trust with a song that moves in modern melodic rhythms and lyrics and has as its theme the energy and vitality of young love. In addition, with the video clip we give a “taste” of our exotic summer, a few months before the new season”, states Mr. Maggos.

It is noted that “Kiss of Fire”, which exceeded 85,000 views in a few days, is the third music video clip that has been shot in recent years on the island of Calypso, reinforcing the Municipality’s strategy for an original promotion of the destination with the power of music “dressed” by beautiful images of Lipsi.

According to a survey of three thousand online reviews and ratings conducted by the Municipality, visitor satisfaction with the destination is over 90%, with couples being a very popular category of travelers.

“A destination can be authentic and yet modern at the same time, like the types of music that we “marry” in our songs about Lipsi. With initiatives by the Municipality and the local community, the people of Lipsi keep the beaches intact without organized umbrellas and sunbeds. At the same time, the island provides quality and modern accommodation and entertainment services, while gastronomy and local products are becoming more popular even beyond the borders of Greece. In this way, we are creating a travel experience that seems to be becoming unforgettable,” adds the Mayor.

It is noted that 2024 was a record tourist year in coastal ferry arrivals for Lipsi with increased traffic compared to the previous year.
