The Greek flag will be hoisted at the Acropolis Hill at 09:30 instead of 08:00 on Friday, the office of the Hellenic Republic's president said on Thursday, due to work that needs to be completed on the flagpole, ANA reports.

The flagpole, which also serves as a lightning rod, has been under repair following recent thunderstorms and the work is expected to be completed on Friday morning.
