The National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced on Monday 303 new coronavirus cases in the country, of which 59 are associated with known clusters while 25 were detected after checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is now 20,142, of which 55.9% are men, int.ert.gr reports.

Eighty-three (83) people, whose median age is 67 years, are intubated. Twenty-five (30.1%) are women and the rest are men. 88% of the intubated patients have an underlying health condition or are aged 70 years and older while 227 patients have been discharged from the ICUs.

Moreover, 8 more people have died, thus bringing the total number of victims in the country to 417, of which, 156 (37.4%) are women. The median age of the deceased was 78 years and 96.4% of them had an underlying health issue and / or aged 70 years and over.
