51 forest blazes burning across Greece between Monday and TuesdayAuthorities are investigating the causes of the fires

A total of 51 forest fires were burning in Greece between Monday at 19:00 and the same time Tuesday evening, the Fire Brigade said on Tuesday, according to ANA.

They involved 475 firefighters with 221 fire trucks, 11 mountain units, and 2 aircraft throwing water. Assistance was also provided by volunteers and water trucks and machinery from local government.
