Rallies in downtown Athens against social security bill concludedThe traffic circulation in Athens' streets has been restored

The rallies in downtown Athens against the government's social security bill, which was tabled in parliament on Monday, concluded shortly after 13:00 on Tuesday, ANA reported.

Athens buses, trolleys as well as the metro and tram services came to a complete halt on Tuesday due to the 24-hour strike called by the Civil Servants' Confederation (ADEDY) against the government's social security bill.

Most ferries at the ports of Piraeus, Lavrio, and Rafina remain docked on Tuesday, as five seamen's unions joined the strike.
