Power supply restored on Greek island of Poros after helicopter accidentThe accident is under investigation, while reports mention that the crash was initially caused by engine failure

The electricity network operator (DEDDIE) announced on Thursday that electricity has been restored on the island of Poros after a helicopter accident on Tuesday that cut the power supply to the island, according to ANA.

A helicopter ran into power lines on Wednesday and plunged into the channel between Poros island and the mainland of Peloponnese, killing the Greek pilot and two Russian passengers.
