Wife of Olympiakos Basketball owner George Angelopoulos dies at 42Ioanna had recently returned from the US where she had stayed for a prolonged period undergoing special therapy for cancer

The family of Olympiakos basketball co-owner, George Angelopoulos was plunged into mourning after his 42-year-old wife, Ioanna passed away.

Ioanna had recently returned from the US where she had stayed for a prolonged period undergoing special therapy for cancer.

George Angelopoulos and Ioanna married in 2008 after being in a relationship for 7 years.

Ioanna gave birth to their daughter in 2010.
