Private sector deposits up by 5 billion euros in Greece during DecemberThe annual growth rate of total credit extended to the domestic economy stood at 9.1% in December 2022

Deposits placed by the private sector increased by 5.004 billion euros in December after a decrease of 591 million in the previous month, with the annual growth rate rising to 4.8% from 4.5%, respectively, the Bank of Greece said on Friday, ANA reports.

More specifically, in December 2022, the monthly net flow of total deposits was positive by 4,389 million euros, compared with a negative net flow of 694 million during November 2022.
