Commissioner Moscovici: Greece cannot keep achieving 3.5% surpluses foreverHe stressed, forcing Greece to achieve a 3.5 pct primary surplus is not something that can " be continued forever" and that this would have to be discussed when the time was right

Greece keeps achieving 3.5-pct primary surpluses "fovever", European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said on Thursday, during the presentation of the European Commission's autumn economic forecasts, ANA reports.

The French commissioner cited growth rates projected for Greece in 2019 (1.8 pct) and 2020 (2.3 pct), pointing out that they are backed by a "growth-friendly fiscal package" and increased exports.
