MKG Mediterranean HIT Report: High performance for Mediterranean hotels in April
Hotels in Mediterranean countries showed an increase in revenue per available room, with the exception of France, during April, compared with the same month last year.
On the contrary, a sharply negative performance was recorded at hotels in most countries outside of Europe by the MKG Mediterranean HIT Report (Hotel Industry Trends), which is published every month exclusively at Tornos News (www.tornosnews.com) and can be downloaded for FREE.
According to April's data, the largest losses in revenue per available room were recorded in Turkey (-23.4%), while the largest increases were recorded in Greece (in a sample, however, regarding only the islands).
The report records the changes in occupancy, average price and revenue per available room regarding hotels located in Greece, France, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey and Tunisia.
Read the absolute numbers and percentage changes for all hotel sizes per country in the survey's full text.
Download freely for a year the MKG Mediterranean HIT Report (Hotel Industry Trends) exclusively at Tornos News (www.tornosnews.com).
Tornos News will also host at regular intervals MKG Group President and CEO Georges Panayotis' articles.
