Lead Developer Symfony H/F
MKG Group is a company with a strong presence among tourism stakeholders. One of our activities is to offer a service to companies in the hospitality industry called "OlaKala". (For the little story OK would come from the modern Greek Oλα καλα - Ola kala, literally all good, an expression used by Greek sailors and by the Greek railroaders in the United States, who affixed the two famous letters on all the rails correctly installed meaning: everything is fine, all good ...).
Until today, the development of one of our products was provided by an external agency directly under the responsibility of the IT director and the internal project team.
Mission
We want to undertake the continuous development and maintenance of this product internally and we are counting on you to make that happen.
Supervised by the IT Director and in collaboration with other team members and developers, you will be in charge of this project becoming eventually the key technical reference of this application.
- You will assume full responsibility for the maintenance and future development of the application.
- You will ensure the stability of the platform for 24/7 availability and cope with load peaks or external attacks.
- You will be responsible for the project management, testing, deployment and technical documentation of the platform.
Your mission will bring you to be in close collaboration with the different services of OlaKala: direction, acquisition, operations, new concept and marketing.
The technical challenges are numerous and your missions being at the heart of the platform’s growth, will be strategically important.
Required profile
You are rigorous in the project management, autonomous and highly involved.
You have extensive experience integrating as well as implementing APIs.
You are at ease working in a multicultural team, and with third party agencies to ensure a smooth transition.
You’re an expert in PHP (Symfony-3 or other)
You have a good knowledge of AngularJS, Node.js, Typescript
You’re experienced in Agile development.
Additional skills required in: Linux, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, HTML 5 / CSS 3, git
You give great importance to the optimization and maintainability of your code.
You’re apt for a long-term commitment to a great and fast-growing entrepreneurial project.
You’re passionate about the evolution of information technology.
You’re curious, autonomous and always want to learn more.
You ‘ve at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
