Minister: Greece attracted roughly €4 billion € in foreign direct investments during 2017The attraction of foreign direct investments is critical for the recovery of Greece's stricken economy and further promotion of its promising tourist industry

Greek Economy Minister Dimitri Papadimitriou, in statements to the public broadcaster on Wednesday, announced foreign direct investments in Greece last year will hover at a four billion euros, as figure he said at the pre-crisis level of 2006.

“For 2018 we already have four strategic investments that are already in various stages (of implementation), and which correspond to 400 million euros…” he added.
