Greek visa centers for Russians will stay open during weekends in Moscow, according to the press service of VFS Global company, which is responsible for the reception of visa applications.

The company has announced that measures have been taken to accelerate the processing of applications in 2 centers of visa issuance  in Moscow, namely in the center that caters to tour operators and in the center that accepts requests for individual Russian travelers.

In the center that serves tourism professionals, 20 additional reception offices will process biometric data, while in the center that caters to single travelers, 27 offices will do the same while 10 will receive biometric data of individual tourists.

To speed up the processing of additional documents, delivery from the Consulate has been accelerated.

VFS Global also makes clear that the processing time of applications and the issuance of a visa is determined solely by the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow.
