Thessaloniki’s traffic police said on Wednesday it will close off a section of the Athens-Thessaloniki national highway in the region of Pieria on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 16-17) to complete ongoing road works.

The closure will affect the Athens direction of the road at the junction from Klidi Imathias to the Methoni-Agathoupoli Pierias junction, from 07:00 on Thursday until 18:00 on Friday. The same measures will be put in place on March 3 and 7, to complete the road works.

At Klidi, police will divert traffic towards Egnatia Odos and will re-enter the national highway at the Methoni-Agathoupoli junction.
